I am not one to leave reviews often so this one is well deserved. I have not disclosed until now that I am a qualified therapist myself and have run my own salon...I've been to many salons in New Plymouth trying to find someone with the professionalism and standards I am used to. Ahlam I spoke very little to you as 1. I was exhausted but 2. I wanted to put you to the test and let your work speak for you....well I can honestly say I was absolutely blown away...being in the industry myself it's very difficult not to notice things, count and analyze what you are doing because it's in us to do that. In saying that...I have also never been a fan of facials I've always been left battling to breathe or the wrong touch can make you so uncomfortable especially if you suffer from sinuses you will know what I'm talking about when I say facials is usually not a fun treatment at some point. Well from beginning to end I was put under a spell I've never experienced before. Not once did I struggle to breathe, my stress literally melted away like nothing I've felt before and it's effect on my mood has lasted 48hrs and counting I'm under a relaxation spell and loving it! From when I walked in Ahlam knew who I was even though id never been there she greeted me by my name and like she knew me. I felt instant results from my facial and Ahlam took before and after pics to show me my results which was an awesome touch (usually the pics are taken to advertise their work) so it was refreshing to have a results driven approach to my facial. A woman of her experience is in this industry for the passion and its her calling...her gift cannot be taught.
